Ingredients
- 1 lb. crab meat
- 1 ½ cup Chef Merito® Bread Crumbs
- 2 tsp. Chef Merito® Shrimp Seasoning
- 1 cup corn cereal, crushed
- 2 spring onions, finely chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- Oil for frying
Preparation
- In a shallow bowl, mix 1 cup Chef Merito® Bread Crumbs with 1 cup crushed corn cereal. Reserve.
- In a second bowl, combine all the remaining ingredients and form patties about 3” in size.
- Heat ½ cup oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Roll the patties in the flour-corn cereal mixture and fry them until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side, turning them carefully.
- Remove from heat and place on a plate lined with paper towels. Serve with your preferred sauce.
