Shrimp Skewers

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb. medium to large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tsp. Chef Merito® Shrimp Seasoning
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 8 bamboo skewers

Preparation

  1. Soak the wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes (this reduces burning of the sticks).
  2. Thread 4 to 5 shrimp onto each skewer.
  3. Brush the shrimp with olive oil on both sides and sprinkle with Chef Merito® Shrimp Seasoning.
  4. Heat an outdoor grill or stovetop grilling pan.
  5. Place the skewers over the heat until cooked through or no longer transparent and slightly charred, about 3 minutes. Cook on the other side.
  6. Serve with rice.
