Camarones Norteños

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. jumbo raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • ⅓ cup Chef Merito® Adobo Costillas Nortenas
  • 1 Tbsp. Chef Merito® Lime Juice
  • 2 Tbsp. cilantro, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, Chef Merito® Adobo Costillas Nortenas, Chef Merito® Lime Juice, cilantro, and garlic.
  2. Add the shrimp, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a large baking sheet with foil.
  4. Place the shrimp on the baking sheet in a single layer, discarding any extra marinade.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes, just until the shrimp are pink, firm, and cooked through.
  6. Serve with rice or enjoy as an appetizer.
