Ingredients
- 6 oz. of ground Kobe beef
- 1 Poblano Chile
- 1 cup Salsa Verde (your favorite)
- 1 Egg
- 2 oz. Panela Cheese
- 2 Corn Tortillas
- 2 oz. Mayo
- 1 Lime
- Chef Merito® Steak Seasoning to taste
- 1 Tbsp. Chef Merito® Meat Marinade
- 1 cup Chef Merito® Chicken Marinade
- 1 Hamburger bun
- Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Preparation
- Season the burger with Chef Merito® Steak and Meat Seasoning, then grill to your desired doneness.
- Cut the Panela cheese and sear in a sauté pan over medium heat for 2 minutes on each side, then set aside.
- Peel the skin off the poblano chili, deseed it, and grill until tender.
- Mix the mayo with Chef Merito® Meat Marinade and the juice of the lime, adjusting to taste.
- Cut the tortillas into strips, fry them until crispy, and then toss with the salsa verde.
- Heat the Chef Merito® Chicken Marinade and poach the egg in the liquid until cooked to your liking.
- Assemble the burger with the grilled Kobe patty, seared Panela cheese, grilled poblano, and poached egg on the hamburger bun. Add the tortilla strips with salsa verde and the mayo mixture. Enjoy!
