Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 Tbsp. Chef Merito® Fajitas Seasoning
- 1 cup water
- 1 can (19 oz.) red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (14 ½ oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
Toppings
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 1 avocado, chopped
- ½ red onion, chopped
- 1 bunch cilantro, chopped
- 1 container sour cream
- Tortilla chips, stripped
- 1 jalapeño, sliced
Note: Adjust toppings to your preference.
Preparation
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over high heat. Drain the fat.
- Stir in Chef Merito® Fajitas Seasoning, water, beans, and tomatoes.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, for 12-14 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve with toppings of your choice.
