Ingredients
- 2 cups rice
- 1 lb. medium peeled shrimp (frozen and thawed or fresh)
- 12 oz. Chef Merito® Fajita Marinade
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. bell peppers (green, red, or a combination)
- 1 Tbsp. Chef Merito® Garlic Powder
- 2½ cups water
Preparation
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the rice and stir continuously with the oil for 6 minutes.
- Add the shrimp, onion, and bell peppers. Mix and stir continuously for 2–3 minutes.
- Add the Fajita Marinade, garlic powder, and water.
- Mix everything well and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cover the pan.
- Cook for approximately 17-20 minutes.
