Carne Asada Tacos

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. Flat iron steak (or your favorite meat)
  • 2 Tbsp. Chef Merito® Steak & Meat Seasoning
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • ½ tsp. Chef Merito® Lemon Pepper
  • ½ white onion, diced
  • Corn or Flour Tortillas

Optional Garnish

  • Pico de Gallo (see our recipe HERE)
  • Cilantro
  • Sour Cream

Preparation

  1. Rub the flat iron steak with meat seasoning, olive oil, lemon pepper, rosemary, and garlic. Let it marinate for 30 to 40 minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill to 375°F. Grill each side of the steak for 8 minutes, then slice or cube the meat.
  3. Warm up the tortillas, then add the steak and top with diced onions, cilantro, sour cream, and/or Pico de Gallo.
