Ingredients
- 4 lbs. of flap meat
- 2 cups of Chef Merito® Meat Marinade
- 1 tbsp. of olive oil
Preparation
- Place meat in a plastic bag along with Chef Merito® Meat Marinade.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.
- Remove from the refrigerator. Discard the marinade.
- Pat steaks dry.
- Prepare the grill for direct heat cooking.
- Lightly coat the grill with olive oil.
- Place meat on the grill and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Remove from heat.
- Slice and serve.
Suggestions:
Serve with pasta on the side. For extra flavor, drizzle some chimichurri sauce over the steaks right before serving.
Optional: Homemade Chimichurri Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 4 tbsp. of Chef Merito® Garlic Salt
- 2 tbsp. of fresh oregano leaves, finely chopped
- ½ cup of olive oil
- 2 tbsp. of white wine vinegar
- ¼ tbsp. Chef Merito® Black Pepper
Preparation:
- Mix parsley, Chef Merito® Garlic Salt, and oregano in a small bowl.
- Stir in olive oil, vinegar, and Chef Merito® Black Pepper.
- Serve over steaks.
