Peanut Butter Dipping Sauce

Peanut Sauce

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup smooth natural peanut butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tsps. toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tsp. Chef Merito® Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp. Chef Merito® Salt, Chile & Lemon
  • 1 (5.6 ounce) can coconut milk

Optional: for garnish

  • 2 tsps. chopped red bell pepper
  • 2 tsps. chopped fresh cilantro, or to taste

Preparation

  1. Put peanut butter in a bowl. Whisk in garlic, brown sugar, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, Chef Merito® Lime Juice, and Chef Merito® Salt, Chile & Lemon.
  2. Bring coconut milk to a simmer in a small pot and then add to the sauce. Mix well.
  3. Keep in the refrigerator and when ready to serve, garnish with chopped bell pepper and cilantro.

This sauce is great to use with beef, chicken, shrimp, and even raw vegetables.
