Ingredients
- 6 apples
- 6 tamarind paste covers
- 2 Tbsp. Chef Merito® Salt, Chili and Lemon Seasoning
- 6 wooden sticks
Preparation
- Soak apples in hot water for 5 minutes to remove wax coating.
- Pat dry, remove stem, and insert a wooden stick into each one.
- Heat tamarind paste in the microwave for 10 seconds until soft.
- Using your hands or a rolling pin, stretch the tamarind paste until big enough to completely cover the apples.
- Cover the apples with the paste.
- Sprinkle with Chef Merito® Salt, Chili and Lemon seasoning to taste and enjoy!
