Milanesa Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs. Sirloin steak
  • ½ cup Chef Merito® Meat Marinade
  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1-8 oz. Chef Merito® Seasoned Bread Crumbs

Preparation

  1. Marinate the steaks with Chef Merito® Meat Marinade for 20 minutes in the refrigerator.
  2. Beat the eggs in a medium-sized bowl and place the Chef Merito® Seasoned Bread Crumbs in a shallow dish.
  3. Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and drain the marinade.
  4. Dip each steak into the beaten egg mixture, then into the Chef Merito® Seasoned Bread Crumbs, covering them well on both sides.
  5. Add cooking oil to a large skillet and place over medium heat.
  6. Once the oil is hot enough, fry the steaks for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm.

Suggestion:

Use breaded steaks to make delicious sandwiches or serve with a side of your favorite vegetables.
