Ingredients
- 20 large mushrooms of choice, stemmed
- ¾ cup Chef Merito® Seasoned Bread Crumbs
- 1 tsp. Chef Merito Garlic Salt (optional)
- ½ cup grated Cotija cheese
- 2 Tbsp. cilantro, finely chopped
- ¼ cup olive oil
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 400ºF.
- In a bowl, combine Chef Merito® Seasoned Breadcrumbs with the Cotija cheese, cilantro, and 2 Tbsp. olive oil until well blended.
- Clean mushrooms with a damp cloth or paper towel to remove any dirt and stuff the cavities with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place them in an oiled, oven-safe dish or baking sheet with stuffing facing up.
- Sprinkle with Chef Merito® Garlic Salt to taste and drizzle remaining olive oil on top.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy!
